This position will manage and grow a multi-state territory in the US, calling on major name manufacturers in food, beverage, pet food applications, and representing unique and healthy ingredients.


ROLE:
This position is based at the Woodland, CA Facility. Occasional travel may be needed.
As part of the Industrial and International Sales team, this position will require working with major food companies in the US and abroad to provide technical and service support on sales of specialty grains for use in food manufacturing.The position will require a minimum commitment level of approx. 45-50 hours/week. This position has no supervisory duties at this time.


EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Four year degree highly preferred; with a concentration inFood Science, Business or other applicable field.

Responsibilities for Sales Associate include but are not limited to the following:
• Greet customers and ascertain what each customer wants or needs.
• Describe merchandise and explain qualities
• Recommend, select, and help locate or obtain merchandise based on customer needs and desires.
• Compute sales prices, total purchases and receive and process cash or credit payment.
• Answer questions regarding the store and its merchandise.
• Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions, policies regarding payment and exchanges, and security practices.
• Maintain records related to sales.
• Place special orders or call other stores to find desired items

Candidates must meet the following requirements for consideration:
• Hight School Education or equivalency
• 2 Years of Customer Service Experience
• 1 Year of Retail Sales Experience
Experience: This position offers a 40 hour per week schedule working a schedule between the hours of 9:30am - 6:30pm Monday through Friday and 9:30am -4pm Saturdays.

Pay for this position is $12.00/hr plus overtime as needed. This is a temporary-to-hire opportunity.
