Delivery Driver

The purpose of the Molten Delivery Driver is to transport Ladles of molten aluminum to the customer. The Molten Delivery Driver will drive the company truck which will require CDL licensing to and from the client site located in Columbus, Indiana. Once the truck is loaded with full or empty ladles the Molten Delvery Driver will deliver the product to the customer. This position will encompass about 90% of driving and the 10% of sitdown forklift operation.

Provide documentation and samples to designated customer reps.
Arrive at designated customer location and wait while customer unloads full ladles and reloads empty ladles.
Makes all pre-operation/pre-trip inspections required by DOT regulations regarding the company truck and all associated recordkeeping required.
Takes all chemical samples of the M furnace
Mill's chemical samples
Analyzes samples via spectrometer
Presents analysis results to supervisor for delivery approval or further instruction of chemical adjustment(s).
Adjusts chemical(s) as necessary by direction from supervisor.
Ensures all ladles, gross, tare and net weights are properly obtained and gathered.
Ensures all required paperwork and samples are gathered and ready to be delivered related to the molten product.
Assists in the filling of ladles, de-gassing of ladles, drossing of ladles, drossing off of ladles and the loading of ladles onto truck for transport.
Maintains a neat, clean and organized work area.
In the event deliveries are canceled, this position will assume other operator duties as assigned by supervisor.

I. JOB SUMMARY ?
The primary duties of this position will be to provide excellent customer service support for a number of terminals located throughout the Eastern half of the United States and various terminals located in the Midwest. Must be efficient and able to remain positive while resolving customer issues.

Hours are from 11:00 AM- 8 PM, Monday through Friday.
