1. Perform setup and operation on a rollformer (feed rollers, coil end joiner welder, Oak Press, rollformer tooling, cut-off die) to fabricate various product (ladder rails, ladder rungs, extension rails, various tube parts)
2. Ability to setup the pre-punch operation (Shut height, top and bottom tie down bolts, proper die inspection)
3. Ability to setup and adjust rollformer to match part specification (inboard tooling ¿ ladder and tube parts, proper tooling per location)
4. Ability to setup cut-off die (pull back pressure, proper die and spring inspection)
5. Ability to use allen wrenches, 65 lb. Torque wrench, breaker bar, grinder, air bander floor bundles), saw saw, and various hand tools
6. Perform assembly and production of various size feed bin and grain bin ladders (assembly table, hydraulic swedger, automatic bander)
7. Ability to package a large variety of ladder kits with high accuracy (hardware bags, miscellaneous ladder connection parts)
8. Ability to use a caliper, tape measure, and various specialty gauges to check product to blueprint dimensions (depth gauge, rail gauge, tube gauge, visual on steel quality and part bow)(.020)
9. Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and complete daily checklist (air lines, hoses, oil, etc.)
10. Ability to use computer controls / touch screen to call up programs by part number
11. Plan daily production orders for ladder bundles and ladder kits using computer (JDE program)
12. Ability to work with shipping tags on ladder kits
13. Ability to troubleshoot computer program during production run to meet quality standards on product
14. Perform cycle counting duties on raw material at rollformer
15. Ability to fill out reject and scrap reports
16. Ability to operate various material handling equipment (forklift, overhead crane, hoist)
17. Physical ability to manipulate ladder bundles (some up to 132 lbs.) from banding table down to storage skid
18. Setup and operation of rollformer requires much bending and twisting
19. Ability to coordinate production work with another person at a fast pace
