A local organization is currently seeking an experienced Transcriptionist in Minneapolis, MN for a short-term temporary opportunity. -Transcribe digital audio files (MP3 or WAV format) into Word documents for a qualitative research study. This phase of the project will entail 59 audio files ranging from 30-45 minutes apiece. These files are audio recordings of one-on-one conversational interviews conducted in very quiet to moderately quiet rooms, using a professional-quality digital recorder.
-Work will involve comparing transcription output with that of the project¿s Research Coordinator for consistency/reliability.
-4-8 hour shifts will be on site in a quiet room. A laptop and headphones will be supplied.
-Transcription includes word-for-word transcription and saving and naming files according to a standardized protocol. Transcriptionist will be given instruction in consistent ways to handle unintelligible words, overlapping speech, and nonverbal content. Transcriptionist will also be expected to format all Word files uniformly (e.g., font, spacing).

Candidates must meet the following requirements for consideration:
-Previous transcription experience (1+year)
-Must be able to commit to working 1 (8 hour day) per week for approx. 3-6 weeks

The Merchandise Planner serves as the business manager for a book of business (collection of sub-brands or classes of merchandise) and is primarily responsible for translating the Merchants' vision into viable plans and profitable results. The Merchandise Planner is responsible for developing and maintaining sales, inventory and margin plans that tie to financial targets for an assigned Sub-Brand/Category. Plans will begin at the Sub-Brand/Category level and will drive to choice-level (Style/Color or Fragrance) plans, creating targeted assortments. In collaboration with the Demand/Event Planner, the Merchandise Planner generates demand plans which incorporate statistically-based forecasts, merchandise plans and business knowledge. Principle Responsibilities:
Pre-Season
- Build/refine a class/sub-class plan based on guidance from Category and Attribute plans
- The class/sub-brand plan is a weekly dollar and unit merchandise plan by class, sub-brand and potentially subclass
- Partner with Merchants to create and maintain a seasonal theme-based assortment list and volume targets for dual channel and on-line exclusive assortment.
- Develop assortment plans for sales, margin and inventory to the style/choice level by store in support of productivity and financial targets
- Use demand forecast, "pattern after" items, targets from attribute and category plans, test results and historical trends
- Incorporate impact of events and entrance/exit strategies
