Our client, a large health care company in the Mid-Atlantic, has an immediate need for a seasoned, Senior Web Editor in their marketing department.

Daily responsibilities will have a particular emphasis on content development, validating a consistent look and feel (design), managing project details and testing the user interface to ensure core functionality, look and feel and branding. Acts as Subject Matter Expert for Web Editor associates/contractors, and provides training and oversight for the first level position, providing professional judgment to help mentor Web Editor, aligning with Web Manager training goals.

Develops content for Corporate website and mini sites and helps to lead the website architecture and navigation for all new content and updates to existing content. Helps define and lead wireframe completion to ensure new content editions are effectively added to website and shared with business owners for approval.
Creates content and ensures consistency with new page development, following design standards already in place. Validates the impact of content edits across the website and ancillary sites, ensuring a consistent and streamlined approach, and within guide lines of content standards. Ability to understand internal business owner requests in relationship to current and possible web capabilities, ensuring content owner requests can be implemented in a timely manner and expectations are defined and met. Must understand web design in relation to viewing that content on mobile devices.

REQUIREMENTS:

* Bachelor¿s degree required with a minimum of three to five years of website content management experience and experience in writing, editing for web audiences.

* Previous web content management is required and corporate communications or other related experience is a plus.

* Must be proficient in with web development software and coding, specifically Dreamweaver, Adobe Professional, HTML, and CSS.

* Understands core web site functionality and UI to help lead recommendations for new website pages and updates to navigation based on server logs, web analytics, business needs and site user needs.

* Must be able to think globally and understand how content impacts on one area of the website may impact other areas and ancillary sites.

* Experience with managing digital media, including web-based video, audio files is a plus.

Position: Lathe Operator

Scope
Produces sealed lamp assemblies of various sizes by using hydrogen and oxygen torches on a glass
lathe with tooling to maintain a sealed environment.
Essential duties and responsibilities
1. Verifies the appropriate size of an electrode assembly (anode assembly and cathode assembly) to
the quartz envelope, and inserts them inside the envelope body according to the spacing
specifications of the specific lamp model.
2. Mounts the envelope/electrode assembly onto a glass lathe, and using a torch, seals the ends of
each assembly to the side arms of the quartz envelopes as it rotates on the lathe.
3. Depending upon the type of seal (ribbon or graded quartz), seals the inner quartz plug or the
graded seal to the ends of the envelope under vacuum sealed environment.
4. Verifies the assembly meets the specifications as established for the particular lamp model by:
a. Performing a stress check on the seal assembly using a polariscope
b. Verifying the distance between the anode and cathode (¿arc gap¿) using an optical comparator
c. Visually inspecting the envelope and the seals for bubbles, airlines, and spots, notifying
immediately lead or supervisory staff of any equipment or material issues encountered.
5. Moves completed seal assemblies to the Mounting area for further processing.
6. Maintains a clean, safe, and orderly work area and equipment.
