1. Ability to work “on-call” and /or “off shift” for any emergencies that may arise.
2. Enter incidents and other data such as audit results into the Corporate Health, Environmental, & Safety System (CHESS)
3. Maintain OSHA log and open corrective actions list.
4. Conducts accident investigations and assists with determining root cause and resolution.
5. Develops and facilitates appropriate and required plant safety training.
6. Leads ERT meetings
7. Ensures all new equipment meets OSHA guidelines
8. Coordinate and possibly teach annual required safety and environmental compliance training

31. Contributes to the preparation and maintenance of an evacuation plan and training for employees in the use of the plan in case of fire or other emergency.
32. Keeps up to date of the latest safety procedures and equipment by membership in appropriate organizations, attendance at pertinent seminars and reading professional journals.
33. Maintains MSDS database for the plant and policies relating to this program.
34. Contributes to the plant’s Safety Recognition Program for the recognition of exceptional safety performance.
35. Is able to compile monthly statistics pertaining to the plant safety record.

Responsibilities:

Shipping material from ERP system, utilizing UPS World Ship for tracking of deliveries.

Receive materials/packages, services, capital equipment from carriers, CMs and couriers. The candidate will be require to move pallets and equipment with pallet jacks or dolly.

Receive/Review Work Orders from MRP with Production Manager and issue all materials accordingly.

Issue material for component builds 2 weeks in advance, maintain production work orders and jobs to ensure inventory accuracy.

Maintain accurate list of any material shortages and notify Planning Staff.

Update weekly material status reports and prepare/update material shortage concerns.

Accurately receive material in the ERP system and ensure it is placed in the correct stocking location. Forward packing slips to AP dept., deliver MRO materials to end users.

Perform weekly cycle counts and adjust inventory as needed.

Responsible for initiating and maintaining a primary stocking location to identify shortages, issues, etc.

Issue material for rework or to Engineering using stock withdrawal form and maintain records.

Interface with production staff and buyers when shortages are identified.

Technical Requirements:

Experience in the operation and implementation of a mid-tier ERP system such as NetSuite, Intuitive, or Epicor.

Familiar with sensitive materials handling procedures.

ERP systems working knowledge and administration required.

Experience working in a manufacturing-stockroom-kitting environment

MS Office Skills required.
