This engineer job will support, coordinate and conduct machine noise control validation and development activities at our Client's Proving Grounds and at other sites. This person will help prepare machines for test, setup sound test equipment/instruments and perform data acquisitions and signal processing. Other responsibilities will include analyzing & summarizing test results and generating conclusions & recommendations for improved NVH performance of the machines being developed. The engineer may also be involved in trouble-shooting unexplained factory and customer noise concerns. You must have a strong mechanical aptitude for, and experience working with machinery. *Coursework or experience in machine, system or component noise control is highly desired.

Mechanical Product Test Engineer!

Adecco Engineering & Technical is looking to hire a Mechanical Product Test and Evaluation Engineer with Agricultural or Heavy Machinery / Construction equipment experience on a CONTRACT basis four a client based out of Moline, IL! In this position the person will be assigned to complete a series of lab and field tests. The work includes ensuring the lab tests have clearly defined acceptance criteria, clearly defined procedures, and then working with our wage technician workforce to ensure the activities are carried out per the procedure and all the appropriate data is gathered from the activity and properly analyzed. The contract engineer will summarize the results of the activity and submit an activity report. In addition, the contract engineer will be asked to help other performance engineers evaluate and assess lab and field data gathered from various tests. The contract engineer will also work with PV&V test engineers to help them close out test reports by working with the engineer to gather data from previously run tests, summarize the data, and issuing final test reports from. These will be tests that the contract engineer did not conduct, but will need to help the engineer that did conduct the test in finishing up the final reports. Some of the types of lab and field tests that the contract engineer will be responsible for include but are not limited to

*Electrical component specification validation

*Software validation

*Machine functional performance due to software/electronics

*Electrical/sensor component functional validation

Some of the types of data that the contract engineer will be responsible to analyze include, but is not limited to

*Sensor output

*CAN bus loading, evaluation

*CAN bus messaging evaluation

*Software performance

Work Duties:

*Plan and execute tests on seeding equipment and components

*Determine test parameters including acceptance criteria

*Evaluate seeding equipment, components and software for fit, function, and performance

*Write reports to document tests

*Actively participate in design reviews and design Failure Modes Effect Analysis, partner with seeding design team

*Basic knowledge of Six Sigma techniques

*Technical experience relating to design/diagnostics of mechanical/electrical/hydraulic systems.

We are looking for self motivated, experienced candidates to fill immediate openings as Set Up Mechanics on first, second and third shift at AMWAY!
Qualified candidates will have prior history and experience working on Flexo and Offset Printing Presses.
Applicants must be able to check dimension and stock number for scheduled jobs. Ensuring Press has specific components available for production.
Crossing all disciplines throughout Carton Manufacturing, work as a team to manufacture to customer demands. This includes ability to maintain 5S and Standard work in their work area.

Assists in a variety of quality checks, inspections, and audits as necessary to meet quality standards. Responsible for correcting deviations when quality issues arise.

Assists in a variety of mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance activities to ensure optimal equipment uptime and active participation in Equipment wellness activities.

Ability to learn to run Feeder on Printing Press. Open and accepting of cross training opportunities.
Operates and maintains all auxiliary equipment, associated with the position.
Assists with Head Pressman and 2nd Pressman with make-readies and runs, as required.
Understand QCO principles and be an active participant.
Flexible and open to change.
Assists in the cleaning and preventative maintenance of equipment.
Is able and willing to work overtime, when necessary.
Willing to learn 2nd pressman responsibilities and step into when need arises.
This position is expected to last 6-18 months.
