POSITION SUMMARY (Object, Purpose)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:



Manage the approved supplier base.



Develop supplier quality programs to insure quality materials are supplied.



Includes responsibility for supplier quality certification program audits.



Conduct supplier quality/delivery performance ratings.



Develop long term “partnership” relationships with suppliers.



Locate new sources of supply; keep abreast of changing trends such as pricing or availability of materials.



Analyze material requirements to obtain correct production needs on key items.

The primary focus for this position is reviewing the quoted solution with the customer at the time of order placement to ensure all details / specs are confirmed and agreed to, solidifying the front end order process. *Works with suppliers by coordinating the disposition of nonconforming products (NCMRs) and determining root cause issues and corrective action. He/she is also responsible for ensuring that Hi-Speed is repaid a fair and equitable amount for NCMRs caused by our suppliers.

*Primary liaison for internal/external audits and is responsible to ensure we maintain our compliance with current ISO-9000 standard. Ensures that all quality records are kept and properly stored in the appropriate areas.

*Defines controls and updates quality procedures in conjunction with department leaders, and assists departments and individuals in the formulation of quality procedures and work instructions.

*Coordinates internal and external audits of the quality management system according to ISO documentation

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS

* Bachelor’s degree with minimum 3 years experience in Quality Assurance /Management.

*Relevant experience with ISO-9000 standard, Lean, MAPICS, Six Sigma, 8D, ASQ Certification and

*Quality System implementation.

*Formal training in Quality practices (statistical analysis, auditing, process control)

*Working understanding of process flow and value stream mapping.

Management experience with projects related to HVAC controls, BAS management, Fire management, and Security management systems is desired. Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills. Must have the ability to communicate technical material to a non-technical audience. Able to travel. This will vary on project assignment. Proficient in Project Management software and financial accounting systems. The Maintenance Electrician will be responsible for the safe, efficient installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical/electronic plant and production equipment. Must have 5 years maintenance experience in a high volume manufacturing environment including robotics, power circuits, control circuits, sequence diagrams and a full operational knowledge of PLCs. The work schedule will be a 24/7 rotating shift operation. This position may start on Daylight but will eventually be placed in a weekly rotation. A. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

*Program and troubleshoot control systems with A/B Series 5000/500/5 PLCs.

*Perform basic set up for, program and troubleshoot AC inverters.

*Coordinate, document and organize diagrams for all controls, PLCs and electrical.

*Maintain necessary records/documents of work performed.

*Maintain up-to-date library of PLC programs.

*Work with Engineering in development of electrical and control designs.

*Performs calibrations and completes related documentation.

*Write work orders and perform other duties as required by Supervision.

*Tests prototype model by establishing performance and reliability standards; devising and conducting tests; setting up equipment and apparatus; adjusting, calibrating, aligning, and modifying circuitry, components, and parts; analyzing results and recommending changes.

*Verifies system performance by testing functioning of installed equipment.

*Communicate effectively with employees, supervisors and managers in troubleshooting equipment to ensure minimal equipment downtime and peak equipment efficiency.

*Perform any and all other miscellaneous duties and tasks related to this position as directed.

*Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer’s instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs; maintaining equipment inventories; evaluating new equipment and techniques.

B. SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

*Knowledge of PLCs and electrical equipment.

*Knowledge of AC Inverters.

• Experience with Trane Control systems a plus
• Previous experience with Computer Applications such as Microsoft Word, and Excel a must
• Flexability to work overtime and weekends as necessary
• Written and Verbal Communication skills

This will be an M-F 8:00am-5:00pm

Pay for this position is $11-$13/hr based on experience plus overtime as needed. This is a long term temporary opportunity.

Electronic Repair Technician

First and second shift Electronic Repair Technician jobs in southeastern Columbus, Ohio or Groveport, Ohio. Strong soldering experience with various electronics and a firm understanding of electronics is important to have. You will repair down to the component level. You will troubleshoot, surface mount solder and repair down to the component level for cable boxes. Pay rate will be competitive per hour wage. The company will look to advance individuals by title and/or financially based on excellent performance. Responsibilities for the Electronic Repair Technician Jobs Include:

*Test, troubleshoot, and repair equipment to the component level

*Replacing parts on the circuit boards

*Providing customer service

*Surface mount and through hole soldering

*Assemble and dissemble electronic equipment

Qualifications:

*Able to use an oscilloscope, a spectrum analyzer and a soldering iron

*Must have strong surface mount soldering skills

*Ability to work in a fast paced environment and able to meet quotas

*Ability to read and comprehend schematics/blueprints

*Must be a team player, motivated and eager to learn and grow.

*Two year Associate degree in Electronics, military experience or related experience is desired, but not required

*Must be detail oriented

*Must good on computers

*Able to lift up to 30 lbs.

*If you have BGA machine/rework experience that is also desired, but not required

*Must be able to pass a drug screen and criminal background check
