*On any given day, you may be required to perform tasks in any of the following areas:




*Mailroom - All incoming mail must be sorted, scanned and delivered to the appropriate area. Part of the process includes lifting mail tubs that could weigh up to 20 lbs. This process requires standing, bending, and or sitting. Since the mail is at specific times, this is not the only function that you will perform during the shift.

*Batching Applications - this area is very clerical, primarily sitting. You will be opening envelopes, removing applications, checks and other documents. You will be responsible for accurately calculating required fees as well as validating information is accurately captured. The documents are bundled and prepared for scanning. Dependent on the document validation process, some documents may be prepared to be returned.

*Scanning Applications - To scan the documents, you will be required to stand for the majority of the shift. Part of the process will be to clean the machines in preparation for imaging, continually reviewing images for quality assurance. In addition to scanning documents, you will also process checks for imaging and endorsement to be presented to the paying bank. Lifting and bending is required.

*Data Entry - this function is performed sporadically based on volume, there may be days where you will perform data entry continuously and other days where this will not be a main function

*Application Dispatch - this function is responsible to reconcile the documents that will be returned to the customer. Various reconcilements and verifications are done. Lifting of 20lbs or more is required. Some PC work in excel and access is required - but training is provided. Identify potential problems with applications and escalate to management

• Enter customer demographics into the billing system, with all completed information necessary for billing for New Patients.
• Assess each Re-order received and identify updates that must be made to the customer’s account in order to maintain accurate and complete customer information.
• Prioritize urgent or emergency orders
• Contact patients and/or referrals regarding missing information needed for order processing and following follow up protocols to obtain this information in a timely manner.
• Verify insurance coverage when applicable
• Analyzing a UPS exception report and orders that have been returned to National Rehab advising patients of order delays, as well as obtain pertinent information in order for the delivery to be completed.
• Updating Master Files with address corrections from the weekly UPS reports.
• Complete special projects assigned by the Team or Division Leaders as needed
• Answering of specialized phone lines and accurate transferring of calls to appropriate team.

-Efficiently and accurately manage the daily execution of transactional purchasing activities within the SAP and SRM systems for manufacturing and the New Product Development commodity area and in alignment with quality management system procedure requirements
-Liaise with stakeholders and Legal to execute Purchase Orders, facilitate the creation and sign-off of agreements, monitor GR/IRs and support resolution of non-conforming materials when necessary

-Manage daily issues regarding order processing and fulfillment within the SAP system and forward when required to Procurement Support Organization for technical problem resolution
-Collaborate and participate on local and regional forums to drive best practice, efficiency, standardization and harmonization of Procurement processes as needed

In collaboration with the Demand/Event Planner, the Merchandise Planner generates demand plans which incorporate statistically-based forecasts, merchandise plans and business knowledge. Demand plans provide the basis for future merchandise plans, as well as a forward-looking expectation of sales to inform the distribution process. The Merchandise Planner reports to the Manager, Merchandise Planning & Allocation.


Principle Responsibilities:
Pre-Season
- Build/refine a class/sub-class plan based on guidance from Category and Attribute plans
- The class/sub-brand plan is a weekly dollar and unit merchandise plan by class, sub-brand and potentially subclass
- Partner with Merchants to create and maintain a seasonal theme-based assortment list and volume targets for dual channel and on-line exclusive assortment.
- Develop assortment plans for sales, margin and inventory to the style/choice level by store in support of productivity and financial targets
- Use demand forecast, "pattern after" items, targets from attribute and category plans, test results and historical trends
- Incorporate impact of events and entrance/exit strategies
- Propose initial and promotional pricing by item for on-line exclusive assortment
- Communicate merchandise plans to other functional groups as follows:
- Logistics for their review from a capacity standpoint. Information gained is then reconciled with the plan; issues reviewed and discussed together
- Finance to inform their rolling business plan; together review and discuss any related issues
- Customer Care Center & Distribution Center Partner to inform their labor estimates
- Compliance to inform of possible categories for new product quality, testing and regulatory considerations
- Customer Marketing to give strategic direction for the development/refinement of their seasonal campaign plans
- Support the Logistic Operations & Distribution Center Partners by assisting in the preparation of materials for purposes of evaluating and resolving supply/demand imbalances
- Identify test candidates that fit with merchandise strategy
In-Season
- Analyze and reflect current trends in performance of strategy based on actual sales performance; revise in-season plans for sales and profitability, control inventory levels
- Partner with Merchant to develop and propose tactics in response to current business trends
- Manage and execute promotional and liquidation strategy
- Manage the assortment to approved inventory targets
- Communicate revisions both within the team and cross functionally
- Actively manage inventory levels pulling up, pushing back or cancelling orders; and by working with Inventory Deployment to recommend reorders
