Adhere to all safety procedures and company policies.
Assist in maintaining atmosphere of continuous improvement and team efforts for accomplishing plant goals by using our Quality systems (e.g. QS, 9000, TS 16949) an Environmental system (e.g., ISO 14000).

This position supervises a large team or multiple groups typically performing at least two production or plant functions (blending, filling, materials, maintenance, etc.). Supervises various special or unique projects that involve the application of fundamental engineering or operational principles and practices.

Develops, analyzes and reviews a variety of operational reports across the functions to improve quality, efficiency, cycle times, volumes, and implements operational changes as required.

Develops operating policies and procedures to ensure the efficient use of resources, maintain a safe environment, and produce quality products.

Assists with interpreting and applying department policies and procedures and applicable laws, rules, and regulations; ensures compliance with these areas.

Ensures production schedules, quality initiatives, safety targets, efficiency metrics, and other operational measurements are met for the functions.

Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Operations Management. Chemical Engineering preferred.

Five years of production experience including two years of supervisory experience.

Experience with powder, extrusion, injection molding or milling production

SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

Supervising and evaluating employees;

Performing applicable production and processing activities in two or more functions;

Leading teams who meet operational goals and objectives;

Applying fundamental engineering, production, and operations management principles and practices;

Interpreting and applying department policies and procedures and applicable laws, rules, and regulations;
