A porter’s primary responsibility is to accept incoming new inventory from transports, shuttle vehicles to correct staging locations, and inspect/clean units as needed. In addition, any task assigned by management on a daily basis.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Move vehicle inventory to the designated staging areas
• Receive, inspect, and log new vehicle inventory from transport carriers
• Inspect lease returns for lease vehicle deliveries by filling out vehicle condition reports
• Inspect pool fleet for cleanliness, necessary documentation, and fuel requirements
• Record essential information key packets, key tags, and inventory logs
• Clean/fuel vehicles as needed; includes removing adhesive from PDF film
• Tape broken windows ( vandalism)
• Perform on-site inventory log daily
• Assist Coordinators as needed (fueling vehicles, placing paperwork, cleaning lease available vehicles, etc...)
• Assist Shop Staff as needed (includes stripping vehicles of plastics, moving vehicles, placing plates on vehicle deliveries, adhesive removal, etc…)
• Other duties may be assigned by management due to business needs.

1. Prioritizing of work based on start dates while following all standard operating procedures
2. Clean and inspect lenses to meet RX request.
3. Insert correct lens into correct side of frame (right and left lens)
4. Ensure that lenses are correct size and fit into frame
5. Ensure that any special beveling needs are met for each individual Rx
6. Properly align frame by bending with fingers and/or tools
7. Verify the axis on all multi-focal lenses and make sure all lenses are cosmetically acceptable
8. Align bifocals and progressives to make sure they are straight across
9. Briefly inspect frames for defects or broken parts
10. FRAME ALIGNMENT=All new frames should have a correct four point touch. Temples and front should be square. Spring hinge frames are satisfactory if slightly bent in. Front wrap should be minimal unless by design of frame. Pad arms should be bent at equal distance. There should be no bridge twist or co-plainer. Temples should close evenly.
11. All screws must be tight. Check for sealed eye wear.
