Adecco Direct Hire is currently recruiting on behalf of its client located in the Burlington, NC area, for the job of skilled maintenance techs for 2nd and 3rd shifts. Candidates must have 7 years experience in industrial maintenance and be skilled in PLC troubleshooting, electrical and mechanical repairs and extensive troubleshooting of robots, CNC lathes and grinders. Machine rebuilding skills are a plus.

A typical day will consist of:


*Escalating problems or issues that may prevent them from supporting the production efforts in assigned area.

*Determining staffing availability at the beginning of the shift and reports any issues/shortages to Supervisor.

*Createing a staffing plan, with the Team, to support equipment during breaks and lunches. Reviews these plans with Supervisor to ensure coverage is provided.

*Monitoring the recording of daily performance (i.e. downtime, work performed, etc.). insuring that all documentation is correct and complete prior to end of shift.

*Working with the Team to determine training needs and reviews any training plans with Supervisor.

*Assisting & coordinating the training schedule of the Team with the Training Coordinator.

*Providing training to the Team Members when paperwork is inadequately completed.

*Attending pre and post shift meetings

*Conducting shift start-up meetings with the Teams at the beginning of each shift to cover daily requirement, priorities, equipment issues, and any overtime requirement.

*Communicating daily/weekly performance to Team in regards to safety, equipment up time, productivity, & delivery.

*Checking e-mail and uses e-mail to communicate with their supported personnel i.e. Supervisor, Technicians, Production Team Leaders, Engineer, etc

*Facilitating Team Meetings and managing the action items as required.

*Verifying parts order information is correct, tracks parts delivery, insures parts are installed as soon as received and documentation is complete. Keeps supervisor informed on parts order information.

*Managing vacation, personal time, absenteeism with the Team, according to the attendance policy.

*Ensuring housekeeping activities have been performed satisfactorily by the previous shift, and signs-off acceptable, or reports and issues to the Team Leader for rectification before the Team shift may end.

*Supports 5S activities within the Maintenance group



You will have:


*At least five years experience in manufacturing/industrial maintenance.

*Availability/willingness to work flexible shift hours as business dictates (6-7 days/week).

*Good organizational and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities for this Office Furniture Assembler/Deliverer job include:

Loads furniture orders onto truck and delivers product to customer. Completes furniture assembly/installation as per installation specifications to meet customer satisfaction. Inspects furniture for proper operability according to manufacturer’s guidelines.
