Project Manager - Casa Grande, AZ

Our client is a very socially responsible food manufacturing company with international exposure. As they continue to grow nationally they are looking to hire a Project Manager with experience in sales, food manufacturing or purchasing for their manufacturing facility in Arizona. This position will report to the Sr. Director of National Sourcing.

Responsibilities:


*Support the commercial and R&D teams and drives the internal process of development for new sales (customer and item) opportunities

*Apply various sales and management skills to prioritize and realize commercial opportunities

*Maintain contact with both existing and prospective customers, plant management and project management/new item development teams

*Effectively deal with inquiries requesting updates on product development status; compiling information on the desired products and reporting as appropriate

*Tirelessly pursue details and manages all product development activities

*Effectively prioritizes opportunities and resources to meet project goals, including but not limited to: time to market, company profit, customer satisfaction, and sales revenue

*Achieve team and individual product development targets as set by the Sr. Director of National Sourcing

*SAP system maintenance as needed

*Travels as needed



Requirements:

*BA/BS in related field

*2+ years of professional experience in sales, food science or purchasing

*Strong interpersonal and customer service skills required

*Strong negotiating skills

*Good verbal and written communication skills

*Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, meet deadlines and be able to thrive in a fast-paced work environment

Regulatory Manager - Casa Grande, AZ

Our client is a very socially responsible food manufacturing company with international exposure. As they continue to grow nationally they are looking to hire a Regulatory / Product Manager with experience in food manufacturing for their manufacturing facility in Arizona. This position will report to the Director of Quality / R&D.

To ensure legal compliance of products and packaging / labeling, to administer internal and external data bases, documents and other official information related to product specifications, processes and certifications and to manage customer/consumer complaints.

Responsibilities:


*The person compiles and approves the relevant product information on packaging material, labels, and assists in the review of promotional materials, ensuring that labels, labeling, promotional, and advertising materials conform to regulations and the law., such as

*Ingredients lists

*Nutritional values

*Nutritional/quality claims

*Technical information

*Handling/preparation information

*Graphical requirements







*Compiles data and maintains internal and external data bases, documents and other information regarding product specifications, registrations, certifications and related processes.

*Manage consumer complaints and claims, with the aim

*to avert any damage to the company in a responsible, fair and legal way

*to trigger instantly relevant company activities in case of product safety alerts

*to provide feedback for the companies continuous improvement program

*to promote the image of the company

*to improve the business relationship to customers and consumers






*Develop and suggest internal policies, procedures and/or directives for regular compliance

*Inform the management about related regulations and relevant upcoming changes

*Ensure they are up-to-date with the related law, legal guidelines and regulations by attending further relevant training and education



Requirements:

*Bachelor degree in food chemistry, food-technology or a similar subject with a focus on food law

*2 to 5 years of professional experience in regulatory affairs or food law/labeling issues

*Advanced knowledge of the regulatory requirements applicable to the company/industry

*Knowledge of the leading food retailer companies and their organizations would be beneficial

*Excellent verbal and written communication skills

*Ability to quickly conduct risk assessments

*Detail oriented with strong analytical, research, problem solving and reasoning skills

*Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
