A local leading organization is currently seeking experienced Material Handlers in Lexington, KY for a long-term temporary to hire opportunity. Responsibilities for assembler roles include but are not limited to:
• Picking orders from stock inventory
• Unload, move and store a variety of materials, parts and products
• Store and stack materials according to supervisor instructions

• Filling, label and prepare orders for shipment.

Candidates must meet the following requirements for consideration:
• Prior order processing, or warehouse experience beneficial
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time and consistently lift 40-50 pounds
• At least one year of prior relevant experience is preferred but not required
• Must be able to successfully complete a client specific background check
• Ability to stand, walk, lift, stoop, bend, push, and pull within an 10 hour productive work day.
• Math and counting skills are vital to accurate orders.
• Must be able to locate small item numbers on packaging and enter into RF scan gun
• Must show up on time, for every shift, and work until that shift is completed.

We have openings on first shift (Monday - Friday from 9:30 AM - 6:30 PM) Orders are busiest early in the work week (Mondays, Tuesdays, ect.). Employees will be required to work overtime on days when the order volume is high. You must be flexible to stay until the shift is completed. Advanced notice of late days might not be possible. Employees who accept this assignment must be aware that this flexibility is a requirement of the position.

Pay for this position is $10.75/hr plus overtime as needed. This is a temporary-to-hire opportunity.

This is a five day event for the agents to upgrade their lock-box technology, Sunday, August 24 through Thursday, August 28. Employees will assist agents at various touch-points during the event.
