As a Bindery Operator you will be responsible for setting up and operating basic/entry lever bindery equipment including but not limited to: drill punch, folder, collators, off-line numbering machines, paper cutter, padding press as required. Responsibilities for this Bindery Operator job include:

• Read and interpret job information on order to determine bindery operation and specification to be performed.
• Sets up and operates most entry level bindery equipment including but not limited to: drill punch, folder, collators, off-line numbering machines, paper cutter, padding press and poly wrapper as required.
• Makes a continuous quality check throughout operations.
• Performs kitting or fulfillment functions that involve assembling different materials into open item as per customer specifications.
• Performs basic shipping and receiving duties.

Qualifications:

• Previous printing, bindery, production, or shipping experience preferred.
• Requires basic math and reading ability and manual dexterity.
• Must have good attention to detail.
• High School Diploma/ G.E.D. required


We have openings on all shifts, including swing shift. Must be open to any shift and over time when necessary.

Pay for this position is $11.00/hr plus overtime as needed.

As a Press Operator you will be responsible for verifying customer orders specification, including special work instructions before beginning the order, based on information contained in the customer order. • Load mill rolls onto splicer; verify type and weight of paper stock. Load rolls and set up splicer.
• Assist in the set-up and clan-up of prints units; proof read plates, verify ink colors, and assist in unit wash-ups.
• Numbering unit, offset units, set up, and clean up.
• Basic press make-ready and operation in absence of operator.
• Clean up glue applicator upon completion of job or at the end of the day.
• Learn sheeter/batcher operation and controls.

• Test product on folder/sealer.

Qualifications:

• Frequent lifting and carrying weight, 30lb-40lbs.
