Adecco is assisting a local client recruiting for a current Inventory Control Specialist job in Utica, NY. This opportunity is temporary to hire. As an Inventory Control Specialist you will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining inventory control of product, merchandise or materials. Evaluate inventory levels and notifying purchasing when reorders are necessary. May perform receiving, stocking, distributing and packing in addition to inventory control. Maintains inventory records and prepares reports.

Responsibilities for this Inventory Control Specialist job include:
-Responsible for tracking batch & lot numbers, incoming & outbound shipments as they affect on-hand supplies.
-Interact with other production personnel to move produce.
-Act in conjunction with Distribution, Sales and Customer Service to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction in helping to address customer problems and concerns.
-Responsible for maintaining proper records, as well as the implementation of cost-cutting programs in inventory process.
-Will have a basic understanding of audits and reporting, as well as driving programs, on inventory around best practices and standardization of processes.
-Team orientation, which includes the ability to work with individuals at all levels of the organization.

Candidates must meet the following requirements for consideration:
-A minimum HS Diploma or GED is required
-Prior experience with Inventory Control procedures required.
-Must be fluent in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and MAS 90
-At least 2 years of Forklift experience
-Valid Drivers licenses

Pay for this position is $12.00- $ 15.00 DOE This is a temporary-to-hire opportunity.

-Review and Validate Bills on PC that have been scanned.
-Distinguish between a new claim and an existing claim
-Data enter new claims into Claims System

-Perform all other comparable and related duties as required and/or assigned
-Be knowledgeable of HIPAA Regulations and observe company-established procedures

Qualifications:

-Excellent telephone skills and verbal communication

-Data Entry - Proficiency
